
Champlain's Lake Rediscovered: An Exhibition of Vermont Artists celebrates the long and rich cultural heritage and natural history of Lake Champlain by showcasing thriving artistic talent around the Champlain Basin of Vermont.
This juried show opened in Vermont in early May at Shelburne Farms, and since then has travelled to venues in New York City, Boston and Southern Vermont. Its final venue is at the Vermont Statehouse in Montpelier, Vermont, from September 23 through October 31. The exhibit is open for viewing Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and on Saturdays, 11 a.m. through 3 p.m. The opening reception takes place Friday, September 25, from 4:00 to 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Champlain's Lake Rediscovered celebrates many of the local and talented visual artists who call Vermont their home. Their varied interpretations speak to the unique heritage and inspiration Lake Champlain has provided through the years.
