Harwood Union High School is nestled right off of Route 100 in South Duxbury, VT. Working diligently to be one of the best public high schools in the state, Harwood serves the communities of Waterbury, Duxbury, Fayston, Moretown, Waitsfield, and Warren. Thanks to the strong foreign language instruction in many of the district elementary and middle schools, incredible interest and ability is demonstrated at the high school level. About 85% of Harwood students study one of the three foreign languages offered, and many are enrolled in more than one! The World Language department works to keep classes engaging and relevant by incorporating the greater community in much of its work. |
