Festival of Nations and Annual Northeast Atlatl Competition and Workshops
Chimney Point Vermont State Historic Site, Crown Point NY State Historic Site, Crown Point Reservation Campground, and the Lake Champlain Bridge
Addison, VT and Crown Point, NY

For nearly 7,500 years, the area known as the Chimney Point - Crown Point narrows has been one of the most strategic spots on Lake Champlain.  Native peoples camped there as they hunted and fished, and through the years the French, British and Colonial Americans fought for strategic advantage and founded early settlements.

Today the historic tavern at Chimney Point is a Vermont State Historic Site, with exhibits telling the story of Native American, French colonial and early American history of the region.  Across the narrows at the New York Crown Point State Historic Site, exhibits and the archeological remains of British and French forts speak volumes about the strategic role of the narrows.
